Apparently so as this guy hung in for about 8 gallons of dirt run through my drywasher -- emptied the riffle tray into the bucket and there he was. New spot and I saw a few others as I was digging.

I figured it out when I got home and panned out the cons.
They were guarding the gold. Glad I released him as he can do his job until I go back.

Good to see you had some luck, Mike.....LOL, and, didn't get stung when you stole his gold.

Great story and pictures. I am sure if they could growl, that you would have clearly heard that one every time you added dirt to the drywasher. I bet he was some kind of angry.

I wonder if the back scorpions are heavier than the blonds? lol, good story and gold as well, and nobody was stung? I call that a good day!

Nice haul! Next time I see some scorpions I'm going to start digging...:laughing7:

depends upon the size ... I would guess .. while it may or may not be heavy --its nothing to play with ...
