Are there any people here (Wilmington NC)hunting the rivers and/or beaches?

Hello everyone, i am new to this board, but not to metal detecting. I have just started hunting in the water and man is that Wet Sand tuff!!!!I just recieved my Beach Brute and that make a world of dIfference.I have 25 years of Relic and Dry sand hunting. Last year i came across a nice mans large gold band in the salt water and it changed everthing for me, In the water I gooooo.......

I usually go to Oak Island and Southport a few times in the summer, I have not tried detecting around there yet. Maybe this year. HH
