Are these Native American tools / stone artifacts of some sort?

Found both these items on the same farm eastern PA. The first piece in a corn field the 2nd right next to an old Creek .
Can someone please give me spell clarity as to what they may be.
The first one I'm thinking/ hoping it's either flake, broken piece of an abrader maybe? It definitely looks worked to me.


The 2nd peice reminds me of a paper football. I just find the dimensions of it to be quite interesting any ideas on what that could be? ( This was the one found by the creek)

Also if anyone has any idea of what kind of stones these even are that be helpful as well thanks
