Are they too small?

Was wondering if these little guys are too small to polish? I have collected about 3-4 pounds of these little things that would be perfect for a project i have been wanting to make if i could get them all shiny.

Those would be good to put in a tumbler. Quartz. Will take a high polish. Gary

Thanks for the info!! Most of them are already pretty smooth, i just didn't know if pebbles that are smaller then a ¼" were capable of being tumbled to a nice glossy finish.
