Are we being now attacked by Giant Pull Tabs?

I was able to hit a beach today for a while and though it was cold as heck I got into knee deep water, why I have no idea. However though I only nailed a couple pennies, I got two pull tabs.

I have never seen a giant pull tab like this one. I included a pic with a normal sized tab for comparison.

Beachboy it would be very hard to pick my favorite detector as each does a different job. I would lean more toward the Excal for water and diving and the Sov GT right now for land and beach work. I still don't have the WOT coil for the Sov GT, but will have one come spring. I use my Tiger Shark as a back up to the Excal for water and sometimes the CZ-20.

I am not buying detectors looking for the one that finds the most, I just enjoy learning them.

I have not found any of the pull tabs yet Sandman, But i have found a couple large beaver tails i mean very large, ..Sand man did you take out your new scoop. if ya did how did it do...........Cotton

Sandman I took your advice and bought the SOV GT. for beach hunting. My first
season found 9 rings 5- 14k, 3 silver, and one 18k and platinum. one small diamond,
2 silver bracelets. One great beach machine with 15" WOT.
The Gt doesn't disc. on land for me very well,so I have a DFX coming, for land hunts.
I want to add a water detector. Was considering the Whites with the 12" coil,and the 3 lights.
