Trying to get started hunting artifacts with my son and looking for leads in Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas.

Ask for permission at any and all farms (esp. ones that still til) that have water access, creeks and rivers etc...

Goggle maps is a great resource as well with the topographic filter on, you want to hunt the second tier of land, the one above the flood plain, first.

Its tricky to get permission things I have learned is dont ever knock on the door at lunch or dinner time. Also dont bother them when they are in the fields working. Go to the local barber shop and get your haircut and bring it up to the person cutting your hair. They should know most of the farmers in your area and might be able to give you a lead. When crops arent in the field is the best time to ask permission otherwise they are busy. Get their name and # if they will give it to you and never step foot on a planted field. Good luck
