The little red dirt things are actually Indian pottery sherds, which you see a lot of around here. I always like to grab a couple pieces of it, as examples of the rich Native American culture in this area. American pioneers here in Southern Arizona used a lot of Indian pottery in their kitchens, since it was locally produced and sold by the O'odham Indians. And the insultaors are unmarked, except for the one you see there with "GP Co" on it. Thats the General Porcelain company and it dates to the early 1900s.
