Down by Salida, just a pic, nothin special about it. Went down there to go campin. Drove through snow for an hour then it cleared up a little by Buena Vista. Little drizzle came in and the wind got up in the afternoon but about sundown it cleared off. The night was glorious. Up in the 30's, lots of stars, and a big old bright moon, that made me think it was comin on daylight, but checked the clock and it was only about 3 a.m.

Beautiful...I spent quite a bit of time last summer around Salida looking for a cache...I remember those sights very well and look forward to seeing them again! :icon_sunny:

Did you check out Round Hill, randyman? I drove down there this a.m. and looked around. I found where they had the last beer party, but not much else.
