Hey if anyone is interested Masellis hardware in Petaluma Ca has sheets of armor weave aluminum it’s a little steep for me they had some 4x4 pieces that were kind or beat up they wanted 100 for the square I walked away but if you’re building a Von Mueller Spartan dredge and want to do it right they have the stuff there. I have been looking for a source for a long time but I’m a little strapped cash wise as I’m looking at buying another 5”

If you'd run much material across this aluminum Armorer weave screen , it'll squish it . I like Armorer Weave screen but in steel not alum.

Know of anywhere online to order some for a decent price?

Prices are high for everything now-a-days ! To get a better deal ,why not find some friends that could use some and order the Armor weave together to save on the cost ! If you watch the Gold Show's like I do you'll see a LOT of these prospectors are using it in their equipment !

Steel is the only way to go in my opinion its long lasting we have it in all our equipment. Comes in a lot of different gauges I tried the aluminum years ago in a small 3-inch dredge started to have damage the first day.

southfork you said it all ! the proof is in the pudding ! :icon_thumleft: :coffee2:
When I was a kid they used the aluminum weave on top of the freeway dividers. I think it was for bright light diversion sure didn't stop the cars lol but there was plenty of scrap weave around.

That Alumn. left on the side of the road would make the scraper's mighty happy to recover ! With the way the economy is/ has been ,I don't see much metal scrap left on the highway's much anymore. unbroken 3 and 5 gallon buckets are getting rare to see also ! :coffee2: :dontknow:
