I think it’s ww1 this is bronde-copperand red backing has that patina .looks just like the pic. And I can make a lot of the letters out on back that match .got this from Priest River boat dock Beach area kinda like the beach with beach sand rock mix..and clay 1’ down . So good beach hunt ,lol not like la Jolla Shores but it was fun felt at home.it’s 33 degrees out and windy so only spent 3 hours ..got some clad nothing older than 80’s a 1963 Canadian penny ,and this button get home clean and I think I got my first military button.

Yes it looks like the one I got. Does yours have a date engraved? Mine says 1917

Good hunt and recovery.
Some lemon might bring out any gold wash that remains.
Just rinse it off after.

I believe that it is the same as mine also.
It's still my best button dug so far for gold wash being intact.

Ok cleaned it wish I didn’t it looked cooler before.used lemon anyways I think I see 917 on the right banner butt and it’s a big butt I can’t see it very good ,even with mag,and glasses ..lol it might just be in my head I’m seeing 917 and it‘s not clear .....it’s ok because it’s just going in the look what I found pouch .to show off it helps when u can show people what’s under there yard ,they let u play more .
