Totally different than here!

Almost made it there once, to build a house for a client here on the mainland.

Standing in about 6" of snow I told him I wanted roundtrip airfare for me, my wife, and two boys, in advance.
Then, I'd settle for $300 bucks a week subsistence while I built the house.

From his statements of the lanai style of construction he wanted, I told him probably about two months work.
Guess he found someone cheaper!
