Arrowhead info please

I have found a few pieces just haven’t had time to post pics of them. Any info about would be appreciated . Main question is about the older looking one and the big one. Was the big red a spear point? And the older one seems to be made of different material than the flint ones I’m use to seeing. Picture 2&4

... your clear out of my area but I think the big red piece is a knife. You will find a lot of different lithics. It looks like you found some broken pottery too. Neat stuff...

Which one is the "older one"? Fat is correct IMO. The large red one is a knife. If the ones pictured here is the other one in question, it looks like it may be made of Tallahatta quartzite. If so, it will feel like sandpaper to the touch. I'd say the toothy fragment is a Kirk or Palmer.

I have found all of these on our property. We have just over 120acres.

I’m just use to seeing the flint artifacts I guess. The smooth flaked ones.
The older one( I guess they’re ALL older ones) is just different. It could just be really worn down I guess but I don’t see any flaking and the stone is made of different stuff. Hard to explain but almost like someone had some clay and made a mold. I don’t see any quartz in it either. Just looks kinda cave- mannish to me.

I did find one that’s kinda like it and it’s what the previous poster said very sandpapery and I can see the crystals. I was wondering about that one too so thank you

... I think you have a really good spot to find stuff. Another thing that I just thought of is the ground, the soil, in your area can be very acidic and can cause some different weathering on artifacts. We need antMike to give his opinion. He is on that general local and has lots of great examples to compare to...

Nice finds, the black-ish middle one in the last picture is hard to tell, post a few individual pictures of that if you want. Nice group of knives, I see a few Pickwicks in the bunch. Georgia has a variety of material, the big red one and the others were basically knives.

7&8 look like morrow mountains to me with that vanishing stem.
