Arrowhead or spear/lance point?

Found this in the bottom of a hole I was digging for a metalic target. I was so excited as this is my first indian artifact. I don't believe that it is an arrowhead but it looks like a lance or speartip. Boy is it sharp too! Can anyone tell what it is and what group of indian would have made this? I know Cherokee were in North carolina. Thanks.

That's a nice piece of material considering what I've seen in the past from points found in NC. Do you have a picture of the other side?
