Arrowhead pieces while Metal Detecting

I found these pieces of arrowheads while metal detecting in VA this weekend. Any information about what they might be would be much appreciated. Also, how do you preserve things like this?

Don't know the types but the material looks to be TQ (Tallahatta Quartzite).

Are the bottom edge and the lower sides smoother than the rest on the larger one ?

but one is an artifact.

Thanks Gary. I wish that the arrowhead had the point. Still cool to me though. Any idea of how old it might be?

The one is 100% an artifact like others said with a broken tip , that style was common in many different time periods but for some reason I think it has a archaic look to it but see what others think , nice find
