Yesterday, my brother and I were metal detecting without any luck, so we switched gears and decided to hunt a recently plowed field for points. We hunted for an hour and a half and each of us found 3 complete points. If anyone could identify any of the points, I would be very grateful. I’m curious as to the varieties and ages. We were hunting in Southwest Virginia, in Tazewell County. Also, I was given the information that the one Illustrated in the second photo is a Kirk drill. Can anyone elaboborate this n exactly what a Kirk drill is? I’m assuming the Kirk designation is referring to an era and/or region? I am also very curious as to its age. It is a different material than the other points, I do not believe it is chert. Thank you in advance for any help!

I am not from your area, but your item in the second photo does look like a drill that was modified from a previous point.

Like you guessed Kirk is a point type and there a few variants of it the time period is Archaic

Thank you everyone for your replies! I am slowly learning a few things with the artifacts and I appreciate you help more than I can say!
