✅ SOLVED Artillery Fuse or Farming Something???

Looking for some closure on this item. A lot of artillery fragments and a couple of fuses came out of the field where I dug this, however it's also been farmed for many years. I've seen some unique fuses, so if it's brass/copper and has threads I'm not giving up hope.

Most likely it's part of a Nozzle but I'd def, make sure it's not a rare fuse.

+ Brass is Money in the bank.

My guess is ..water valve part, similar to a sink faucet handle guts thingie.
Handle fit over square part , and a leather or rubber washer was attached on the other end.

Simple test - see if a garden hose will screw onto it.

yup it's a valve core, there would have been a rubber washer screwed on to the flat end.

Ah, then must be the threads for turning it on/off - the twist type
