bought this painting I'm pretty sure it's from the 1800s any help with the signature my guess is Reitz or maybe Ruty what do your think?

I think 1977 ... Two seven with a slash though them lead's me to think it's from Europe or Latin America? Still seeing the whole picture would maybe help ID who did it? Could even be 1922

I would of thought 1972 until I notice the painting was nailed to the stretcher and staples have been the common use for the last 100 years
