Hello All,
Been a while since I have been able to post. Still reading yours however!
Had a 24 layover in Aruba last week. Took my CTX and hit the beach. Both rings were about waist deep and rang up like they should...Silver. The beach was pretty clean. There was a guy already in the water when I showed up with an Excal. He had been there 5 days and had found 5 rings. So I was a bit disappointed at that point. But was glad to find what I did.

Glad you did well. I hunted Aruba several years back and was disappointed. The sand in the water was plentiful with old coral. Very difficult to scoop. It was so hot and humid that it felt more like work than the relaxation I was looking for. Gave it up a day in. Had a great vacation, though!
