Asphalt and Metal Maybe?

Found in a field in Charleston, I live in an area that was once part of a Plantation. I have yet to find anything good. Mostly garbage This "rock" or chunk of asphalt is pretty heavy, about 70 grams. Is it just garbage? Could it be a bit of Meteorite? I found a couple other chunks of metal, some pennies too today. Happy Mother's Day!

Could be slag...keep at it, gotta go through 99.9999% of garbage before you hit the good stuff

Don't mention it..

Soak it in some gasoline for a day or two. If it's asphalt, it will dissolve off whatever is underneath.
