I have had my AT Gold for about a month and I absolutely love it. Hearing the tones is amazing, of course I have pretty much figured out the basic coin tones and numbers.. a zinc penny seems to hit around 75, a copper penny or clad dime are around 80-81, a clad quarter hits around 85-87. I have also started digging 51-52 with strong signals and have been turning up some nickels and some junk, I am just curious, are there any other strong signals that you always dig, what are your go to gold numbers??

I dig anything in the 60's.

Def anything above 50

If it's repeatable I dig.

I have had my AT Gold for over a year now and have done fairly well with it. Nickles, pull tabs, small lead and gold usually read in the low 50's. Brass casings, old style pop tops and die cast cars are in the high 50's to the lower 60's. Modern keys usually are in the low 70's. Silver can be tricky, depending on it's size I have seen it range from 65 to 95. Kennedy half dollars are around 90 or 91. Don't just dig based on numbers alone though, listen to your machine and dig those repeatable signals. Many times I have dug up what I assumed would be junk only to find a coin or ring next to a nail or pull tab. Good luck and happy hunting! ☺
