At pro depth issue

Anyone else having an issue with finding a coin say a dime at pro says it's 6-10" but when u dig it 1-2" down. I thought it might be more so I scan again and nothing. Also getting very jumpy signals.

Keep coil low to the ground for more Jumping numbers might be EMI.

Here, in Oklahoma, we have a mixture of red clay and loamy soils. I've had the same thing happen with my ATPro, but mostly when the ground is dry. After a rain, when the ground stays moist, the depth reading is pretty much spot on.

My ATP reads 2-3" deeper than target/// always. a 6" read will be 3-4"deep. a2" read is on the serface// 8" will be 5-6" pretty easy to get used to // Perry
