Never had either but I have heard great things about both.

The AT Pro also has iron audio. The AT Gold is sensitive to sub gram gold. They both are good for relics, coins and jewelry.

Give me a call if I can answer any questions for you.

I have the AT Gold. Bought it about 2 months ago and so far, I like it. No gold yet but I did find a nice silver bracelet, a bunch of lead bullet fragments, and even a staple (the kind you would staple two pages together with) a little over a foot deep and allot of small change. If my coil ever passes over gold, I'm confident it'll let me know. But you should have no trouble locating coins and relics with it.
