Why do drive up ATM's have Braille on the buttons? Frank

111-1 profile.webp

Simple,They have braille on the buttons so that the handicapped will not be required to disclose banking information to there personal care aids when retrieving cash from said ATM,Alot of dishonest ppl out there.

There all made by the same companies and they already have the braile on them so they can be used for any place they decide to put them.

^exactly. The same units are used for both walk up and drive up machines

Frankn,
You see many of he blind actually have chauffeurs and prefer their back seat banking in private

These are designed for the same folks that use the fast food drive thru who have a drivers window that won't go down.

I got it frankn and I thought it was a damn good observation. I thought about it and laughed first time around. publicly traded company called Diebold (DBD) makes a big share of the ATMs ( started off as a safe manufacturer). Also makes some of the electronic voting machines that everyone hates.
