Had a good time at the diggin' in virginia hunt. It was my first time going to one and I would do it again...it's a cool experience. By the 3rd day I was whipped though. I spent about an hour under a big oak tree and relaxed and enjoyed the shade...it was a hot one. Anyway, here's my finds from the 3 days. My first bullet I found was a .69 calibur...never found one of these suckers. They are big!! Found the bugle mouth piece on the first day and after I cleaned it up I noticed it looked like lead inside of it. Do you think they could have discarded the bugle and used it to pour lead into it? Other neat find was the carved bullet that was carved into a fish head. It was worth it, because I wouldn't dig most of these relics where I hunt. Thanks for looking.
