you all know I am very active on Tnet.
I have a MXT PRO and it is my first machine.
I go to the beach once or twice a year and would like a used PI machine that is salt water proof.
I do not care what it looks like as long as it works.Thinking that a tesoro sandshark may do.
Make me an offer that I cannot refuse and get years of good pub. ($300?)

currently planing a trip to alabama in feb

You have one of the best detectors out there, I would trade my MXT for any other detector out there. If you get a PI detector I'm thinking it might take some practice to get used to, I don't know that for sure as I've never used one but they are different in how they operate. I might ask someone who uses one to see how much getting used to it might take. HH

I like mine fine, but it gets crazy in salt water. Just want to increase that beach gold count

A company called Detectorpro makes an underwater detector. I would look them up and give them a call. The PI machines will dig EVERYTHING. EVERYTHING. Detectorpro makes the Grey Ghost headphones and the are a dynamite product. I have several pairs. Check them out before jump. I had a White's TDI and it was a good machine, but at $1300, it was a single use machine so I sold it.

a friend here just told me about a vendor who rents machines.
so I sent a message to them.

you know there ought to be a way to try different machines out before you buy.

currently in negotiations with one vendor

hop in before it's too late Note: I have over 9000 visits to my profile/ they could all see your company there

I had a Tesoro sandshark and it worked well. Jeff, if you are going to spend most of your time in the water, get a PI and expect to dig every blasted 1" piece of aluminum in the universe. If you're doing sand, and remember, you can move over land and cover a lot more territory than in the water, I'd stick with what you have. All my gold has been in the DRY sand near the towel lines.

it isn't nap time yet is it Smokey? (it's friday)

smokey digging is so easy on the beach that I dig everything anyway

Probably many of you Tnetters got new machines today
who is ready to let go of that old PI machine sitting in the corner?

currently have a bid in for a sand shark for 308, so in 24 hours my problem may be solved
