Was used in the home that I grew up in and when parents remolded and now we are cleaning out the attic and found this cool floor vent...This Floor Vent Manufactured by the Adams Company Dubuque Iowa Design Pat. Aug. 31 1897...A flower Design..

Nice ornate cast iron register. Is that the original paint? Great condition. :icon_thumleft:
 

Yes..original paint..all I did is rubbed Olive oil on it...a lot of cool stuff to go through. 3 bedroom house was built in the late 1800's then added another 3 bedroom house to that then in the early 70's remolded the OLD house and added 7 bedrooms (lol) my parents are still living- married 69 years - 6 sons - 1 daughter - my dad's 90 my mom 88 original homestead .:)
