Sunday Me and Roz braved the heat. We explored an area in the Weno Formation (98 mya). Here are some of the finds and then some closeup pics. Also found were a nice "Cretalamna" shark tooth and several large "Macraster" echinoids.
Left side standing up is a pterosaur bone almost 2 inches long.
1. Top row is a "Paraisurus" shark tooth, a crustacean claw, a fish vert.
2. Middle row is a Salenia echinoid, a Goniopygus echinoid, an ammonite cast, a worm tube.
3. Bottom row is two Plicatula oysters and a pecten.
