Automax V2 Pointer

FNG here. Bought the ACE 250 and a pointer off eBay. Anyway the pointer looks brand new but when I installed the battery and turned it on the thing stays activated. I opened it up and there is a small adjustment screw inside it looks like but that did nothing. I asked the seller to acceot a return but if he doesn't can it be fixed? Returned to Kellyco? Or am I SOL?

Oh, the ACE.. Very cool, found a 1944 penny in my sisters yard in about 5 minutes.

you may alredy know this, but if you remove the belt clip there is a small screw in a hole. if you adjust the screw you can tune the automax.

It does nothing to alleveate the problem. Seller accepted an offer for a refund minus shipping. What pointer should I get?

you could give Kellyco a call and ask about getting a replacement. They replaced mine no problem. But I did buy mine from them. It's worth a try.
