Found the actual home site in a much hunted spot and it seemed to be untouched!! Found a cut pistareen, 10 flat buttons, and other assorted treasures. One of the best days I have had in a long time. The funny thing was that my Tesoro would grab the square nails first and when I got rid of them the buttons would be in the same hole right on top!! Same with the pistareen, it was in my hand while I was searching for the nail!! IMG_20151122_161423.webpIMG_20151122_161436.webpIMG_20151122_164247.webpIMG_20151122_164307.webp

I'm using the Tesoro Silver Sabre uMax and have the same thing happen, never walk away from a hole without rechecking! Great job!

NICE FINDS THERE LC.....

Never used a Tesoro uMax --I heard they hit deep.

Nice cut silver!!!

I still gotta post all my stuff from the last 3 or 4 outings.

Looks like a musket lock plate with the hammer attached in your iron pile, that's a good find!
I like the cut Spanish too!

Congrats on the silver and other finds

Nice cut silver! Yes, the Tesoro, in my case the Tejon hits hard on all metal; makes you check (you should anyway) every hole two or three times! Congratulations!

That's an awesome find! Congrats!

Good stuff , dig em' a!! 8-)

You got some nice stuff, but the cut silver is just AWESOME.. out of SC too. Well played my man!

I am always happy to see people recover really old coins and pieces of silver. It tells me that my bucket list can be reduced in size. Congrats on a great hunt.

Like Ironhorse said, the lock plate is an awesome find. I saw that in your rusty iron pile and wondered if you knew what you had? Congrats on a great day.

Good that you found them in with the nails, bad that now you have to dig all nails! But congrats on some incredible finds. Can't wait to see what else is hiding in that iron.
