Found the actual home site in a much hunted spot and it seemed to be untouched!! Found a cut pistareen, 10 flat buttons, and other assorted treasures. One of the best days I have had in a long time. The funny thing was that my Tesoro would grab the square nails first and when I got rid of them the buttons would be in the same hole right on top!! Same with the pistareen, it was in my hand while I was searching for the nail!!

I'm using the Tesoro Silver Sabre uMax and have the same thing happen, never walk away from a hole without rechecking! Great job!

Looks like a musket lock plate with the hammer attached in your iron pile, that's a good find!

Nice cut silver! Yes, the Tesoro, in my case the Tejon hits hard on all metal; makes you check (you should anyway) every hole two or three times! Congratulations!
