This is the first chance I've had to put this up. Went out on a rainy Easter Sunday with my backup machine...the AT Pro. This hunt is up there as one of my best. The AT Pro sniffed out a nice 1941 wheat penny, an 189_? Indian head penny, a 1942 Silver War nickel, a very worn & barely identifiable cut spanish reale, and a 22k GOLD ring! The inscription on the ring reads, "My love is tru, to none but you." I also got a first which isn't pictured. I got a badly corroded nickel 3 cent piece. Rang up a 44 on the ATP. The first I've ever found and likely the only I'll ever dig. They come up barely above iron and I usually skip that tone. Glad I didn't this time. Thank for looking!

Happy Hunting!

-Nate

If that's a '43 wheat cent, better sell it, it's worth a mint judging by the green patina! 43's were made of steel.
Nice group of finds!

Nice finds there. I am guessing you were pretty excited.

Whoops...'41 wheat penny. Sorry. Not sure how I messed that up. Must've been distracted while typing. I wish it were a '43 copper tho. Thanks for making me realize my error.

I think the plow hit it a few times. These were found in a soybean field in SE Virginia.

Nate, Great hunt as usual. Won't soon forget this one as well as all of the other relic and beach hunts we've had, and dodging the thunderstorms. Hopefully we can get one more in before you head out. Thanks for the Great times and comradery. I'll be ready to pick up where we left off when you move back to the States. Best of luck to you and your family and thank you for your service.

Your friend, Barry

Really nice haul. Congrats.

man, i love that ring! would be cool to get it straightened out. are there marks in it that would help with dating? inscribed, old gold rings are a fav.

Really like that ring, love the inscription inside the band..nice score! HH :hello2:

It seems the OP is in the Service , Thanks dirtdigger1381 , & be Safe.

Awesome Finds , Man you were really digging the small signals , & it paid off , at first I thought the Gold Ring was one of those hated bottle cap parts. Don't see many 3 cent nickel piece's Dug.

Thanks Davers. I'm an Air Force guy. Might have one or two more hunts in me before I head to Germany for the next four years. Hope to have just as good luck over there.
