Nice finds! Dog tags are cool. Strange yours didn't have a date on it, all mine have a date.

Adding: George Henry Burgess was a medical doctor in the Waxhaw community. He was born April 3, 1862; died October 25, 1945.

While I'm at it...........
Burgess lived at 201 McKibben Street after 1910. He was know as a physician and editorof the Waxhaw Enterprise; a local newspaper.
