I just came across this site while researching some little towns around me. They have a HUGE catalogue of books you can download..."FREE". They are copywritten under something like general public...
Books of almost every county, some written back in the mid 1800's, copies of journals, etc. Great for history buffs, and for researching those older sites and events.
It's simply called "The online books page" and is searchable.

Better than google books online cause you can just browse the page of titles. This is the page that comes up under Pennsylvania History.
