Found a Henning Counterfit nickel 1944 no P mintmark, I have a refridagtor at work i stock cold drinks in for the employee's that work here, and I some what manage it, and to day i went to empty the change out, and being a coin buff i always look at all the coins, and there it was, pretty increadable it think

GREAT to hear about your find but would love to see some pictures!
Also in the most recent magazine #39 of Weired Nj there is a recent update to that story.There should still be alot more of the nickles in the mucky waters of new jersey.I tried to take the best pics that i could so you can all read for yourselves hope zooming in on them it will be legiable enjoy! From your local new jersey dirt fisherman.
