AWWW, FRESH STRAWBERRIES...LET THE ICE CREAM AND CAKE BEGIN!

Oh yeah! We picked a couple the day before but they are really starting to come on. There is nothing like fresh right out of the garden for so many awesome things. These are destined for yellow cake with vanilla ice cream! Going to be making freezer jam later, love that. Actually we have let the strawberries take over the garden and no one is complaining. The plants are loaded down with little white flowers so it will be a great harvest this year. Wish you were here....naw, grow your own! take my word, they are awesome! DL

They look great. You are a couple weeks ahead of us here in Pa.We had a late spring. Home grown or local grown stuff cant be beat. I cant imagine having to eat fruit and veggies all the time that come in cans or plastic bags.
