Hi
Haven't been finding much at the beaches these days, but because of my love of History I was pleased to find this copper Aztec Eagle Warrior motif copper ring.
The history of Aztec Eagle warriors is so very interesting ; here is the Wikipedia link to info on these warriors for those who may be interested:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eagle_warrior
The ring gave off a loud, strident sound, and I thought it might be some type of heavy metal tubing, but upon recovery ( about 8" deep...wet sand slope) saw it was a ring with images on the band
I cleaned it up and hope you will like the photos of the ring.
I believe it is copper, and probably hand made...not sure, but it looks to be that.
Thanks for looking
Good luck out there to all!
Lorraine
P.S. Please ignore the above post info regarding the ring find; it is not an Aztec Warrior motif ring; I was mistaken, and thanks to AARC's research, I can correct myself on this ring's identity. Please check out AARC's post below.
Apologies for the misinformation.....truly embarrassing!
