Stole this fantastic red & black wicker covered flask in an online auction this morning, the fact that it has it's original top/shot glass is just the icing on the cake. How I was the only bidder is mind boggling, best $10 I've spent in a long time....

I think even Harry will appreciate this work of art.

WTG Jim,

I don't ordinarily like the wicker covered, but this is really an exceptional piece! Congratz on a great get.

Thanks Surf, I'm the same way about the wicker, this is heading for Ebay....

Outstanding buy epackage.

I do appreciate the wickered flask. Have you checked the top for a hallmark?

I've owned a lot of bottles in wicker, but they usually were demijohns in coarse wicker (or other fibrous covering). I admire the tight, small-diameter wicker-work on the flask.

If it were mine, I would just use it instead of listing it.

Harry I didn't get it yet but the auctioneer said "Marked E.D. Bte. S.D.G.D. which means Patented Without State Guarantee." which I'm told is a French mark. Sheperdess I gave up drinking 19 months ago or I would use it... :occasion14:

Cranberry juice would work just fine in it!!!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yes...
