Baby blade?

I found this super thin flake that seems to have one smooth side and one slightly beveled side. I thought maybe the last stages of a long used knife or point that was thrown out, but towards the tip on the smooth side there seems to have been some pressure flaking done on it even in its current tiny form. Is this just a flake, or something cooler?!
(Grey cylinder is 2cm diameter)

I found one similar on a 15'th century site near Clyde, Ohio. It reminded me of a scalpel.
