Back after a long absence...found my greatest treasure!

Hello all, It's been about 5-6 months since I have posted due to the arrival of my baby girl...my greatest treasure. Finally was able to get out quite few times this past month and find a few relics. These are the results of hunting 5-6 various sites. Out of a large CS camp got my first Zouave flower button and a cavalry encampment produced a good number of field cast Merrill carbine bullets, various 44 cal. Colt pistol bullets, a eagle C cuff button with some gilt and my first US bit boss. Strangest find was a 2001 coin from Romania found in an east Tenn. pasture a good 1/2 mile from any home. Also got a sterling silver. Thanks for looking!!!

Congratulations on the little girl! I have three that are now grown. Looks from the picture that yours is ready for adventure! Look after her and spend the time, They grow up too fast and leave you scratching your head of where all the time went. Nice finds BTW!

Savor the time spent with the treasure wrapped in pink! They grow up too fast, and leave the nest too soon. Mine is currently enjoing her junior semester in Limerick, Ireland. Then back to Selinsgrove, PA for the 2nd semester. Seems like a world away from the midwest!
