Detector(s) used
Garrett AT Pro, Garrett AT Max, Equinox 800
It's supposed to snow tomorrow so I'm glad I was able to get out and swing the detector a bit today.

I've now found a number of these ornate decorative things. Any ideas as to what they were used for. Strictly decorative? Looks like they used to have a gold color. Anybody ever find similar looking items. looks like they are from the same mold.

How about the silver strip? Looks like a flattened ring but it is a little thin. Maybe a silver band that went around something. It's certainly nice looking and was a suprise find among the musket balls, iron targets etc.

I haven't found any coins in a while. I'd love to add to my seated coin count at this site (currently at 12 halves, 1 quarter, 1 dime).

Leave it to you to identify the nesting weight! Couldn't find a marking on it though. It read high on the detector between a quarter and a half. Probably a copper alloy. Thanks!

If you remember what the hanging item is let me know. :help:

I just modified my previous post on that I.D :thumbsup:Your nesting weight is actually brass, they do ring dont they!!?

I always enjoy viewing what you are finding down there. Thanks.

Neat finds, the decorative pieces could be from furniture drawer fronts.
