Ok, not REAL Bling, just some plated costume jewelry but, when ya first see it in the hole, you can't help but hope! Back at the park again today, max was there but didn't see him until he was leaving, we had hunted on opposite sides and din't even know each other was there! LOTS of crap today, and here are the totals (actually took the time to count the trash just to see what it was).

$0.72 in clad, keys, a lead weight (maybe off a fishing net), a large gold plated (gold almost gone) earring with what looks like a snake design on it, a pin/broach that has a fake plastic pearl and what I'm sure are CZs (or glass) around the outside, and of course...the CRAP! Today I dug 33 pull tabs and 43 separate pieces of aluminum ranging in size from small slivers up to full cans! LOTS of digging today! Guess my expectations were a bit higher after max and I both pulled gold rings there yesterday. Not discouraged though! We will be back there again I'm sure! Can't get something good everyday but, we can keep hunting for it!

Digging everything like you are doing is sure to show some real bling one of these days! Still good to get out anytime we can :icon_thumright:

Dude, you're an animal! My dogs are looking at this thinking, "Man, WE don't dig this much!"

Yeah, buddy! I was on my knees (nobody better comment...lol) most of the time. As soon as I'd dig one piece of crap and stand up, there was the next piece just a foot or so away...like that all day! Have quite the system now where I can find it, pinpoint and dig it, fill the hole and move on relatively quickly. That was all from about 3 hours of hunting today. Like some of the finds but it is much more work (or at least different) from hunting on the beach. Never have to kneel or bend over with that big scoop! (720i).

Not to worry, I wasn't going to say a THING about you being on your knees in the park ;) A rest area out on the interstate, now...I'm not witholding comment!
I find myself digging an awful lot of stuff that I don't have much faith in being anything but trash, but then...who goes fishing and cuts the line after getting a bite because it doesn't "feel" like a salmon/trout/bass?

The best way to find the goods is to first remove all the garbage,You are ahead of the game on this one!!!
Thanks for sharing!!!
