My wife and I went back to the picnic grounds we split up she went for the clad and I went in search of silver. I started at the edge of the main field working a grid which payed off on the third signal, sure enough I bend down, cut a plug, lift the sod and there it is starring back at me. (I immediately go into a happy dance) My wife looks over at me and yells what did you find? I reply with a big grin WILLVER!!!!!
So now I am pumped and start the low and slow silver search again but to no avail, that would be the only silver of the day. Not that I am complaining. I could have found nothing the rest of the day and still would have been happy.
Throughout the day I would look up checking on my wife and it seemed like she was not moving and at lunch time I could see why. Her coin pouch was loaded, She found another one of those areas just litered with clad.
Her take for the day:
136 clad coins for a total of $7.98
My take for the day:
99 clad coins for total of $2.33
3 Canadian pennies one dates 1955
1 silver dime date 1949 S
Can't wait to get back to this spot
