Back In Action..FINALLY!! 1st Hunt of '08

Ground is finally thawing here in NH..what a long winter. Found a thawed piece of ground and hit it for about 30min. and came out with some keepers.

1940's Wheatie (HAD 2 find a coin!), WW2 Air Force Aviation pin, US Bridle Rosette, and a metal cap. Very cool....

Can anyone date the Rosette, or know of a link to research it?? ...It had 3 tabs that are broken off for attachment.

I know what you are talking about, the weather, and the ground here are dead set on keeping us inside.
Thursday was the best day we have had here so far but I had to work. Tomorrow is suppose to be good I hope to get out then.
I'm glad you got out to dig some.
I like the military finds.

Southwest corner...20 min. from Keene. I hear ya about work...but Thurs. afternoon I was able to hit it before dark..

I'm in West Lebanon, about half way up the state off of 91.
Maybe we can get together for a hunt sometime this summer.

Long winter? There is still two feet of snow in northern WI. It'll be a while before I can get out there! Nice finds!
