Got out in the 103 degree heat and it paid! 1960, and two 1964 dimes, 1964 quarter, and a 1942 Switzerland 1/2 Franc (for a second when it was comin out thought it was a seated dime!...oh well still silver)...

Also, got a 1910 S wheat...a rarer wheat...1960s era Half Buck Play Coin, some keys and various other clad and wheats.

All and all not back...so far this yard has yielded 12 silver coins...

Sorry about the pics...as I said I am on travel so its cell phone cam.

Nice silvers!

Nice digs. This heat is something else. Stay cool and thanks for sharing the hunt!! :coffee2:

WOW - That's a great yard your detectin!!!!!! :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

Thanks guys, also I must correct my count....it was 16 silvers from this yard...not 12.

1917,19,34,36, and 45 mercury dimes
1943, 45 War nickels
1942 Swiss 1/2 franc
1964 Quarter
1948, 2 1951's, 52, 60, and 2 1964's Roosevelt dimes...

On a sour note, I hunted an 1830s homesite today in Middleburg, VA that has some 1700's foundations...not a single old coin...only significant find was a piece of a Crotal Bell...
