Today was so hot My jeans were soaked in sweat when I left! I think it was worth it. First bottle I found was this little 12 sided Wild Cherry Balsam... ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1464552367.051727.webpCommon Im sure.. I found it in my overburden. I hate overburden so getting anything out of it is a bonus. Next bottle I found was a providence, ri. Beef wine iron bottle that I accidentally dropped onto the concrete when I got back to the car. (D'oh!). I'm not going to show the local stuff. Sorry. I'll post them after my pit expires. Two local hutches and a local Pharmacy bottle...I know that's lame. Again, sorry. What came next was a nice surprise. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1464552672.952403.webpa nice olive yellow cone ink! Same pit as the citron ink. :) I would have been happy with just that stuff...BUT...what came next I consider AWESOME...ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1464552776.975926.webp.ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1464552789.826661.webpIts a JUG! Perfect condition other than a hair thin surface scratch on the faceImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1464552837.602445.webp. Also found a very feminine plate.ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1464552881.981984.webp.ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1464552914.901032.webpthats the makers mark? And I found a blank crock too. This thing was filthy!ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1464552959.844248.webp.ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1464552980.037922.webpBlank... Last thing I found is a bordens milk. Same style as last dig. :)ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1464553052.201359.webp. Thanks for looking!

That jug will display nicely. You have a knack for finding the cool stuff, keep em coming.

Oh man that's a killer dig that citron ink is gorgeous and worth a few bucks. The jug is awesome too. The heat has been ridiculous in the 90s up here in CT also.

Continued success...

That color in your ink is dynamite! What a find, congratulations. The graphics on the jug are awesome too and that thing will display nicely. Wow, what a day you had. I like them all, including the fru-fru plate

Beautiful finds!!!

That's so awesome that you got another ink with that kind of colour. And that jug, plate, and crock are all such great finds. This pit is so good! Man, how big is it? Could you describe what it's like?

Thanks all for your comments. The pit I have is getting pretty big now. Not sure exactly how to describe it but I guess it's about 5-6 feet deep in most spots and it stinks! The top layer is probably 1915-1920. That's where I'm finding the milks...after the dark top layer it's ash/trash ash/trash then clay. Very large earthworms in the top stuff too. Today a fox came and checked me out and I nearly had a heart attack :)

Finding some good stuff for sure Goldenplug. Overburden can be tough to deal with, but it helps when it gives up goodies.
