Yuck!
I didn't know it(spiderwort) was an invasive species of plant! I need to read up on more of those kinds of plants. I have learned to recognize sericea lespedeza, because that's something we're always fighting and it seems to thrive in this kind of (wet) weather we've been having.naturegirl said:Ooh, "calf slobber"! I wouldn't think it's a threat out in the wild. Also look for a shorter, more pink version, Tharps Spiderwort. Not as common, but pretty. And be sure and look at the seeds, that's where the name comes from. I think the taller blue one is called Ohio Spiderwort
