I made it back finally and did some more exploring. I found a hot spot far down the bottom but i think because it was such a wet low lying part of the area this time the soil was hard on the coppers. I found 2 dandy buttons, 3 flat buttons, 5 large coopers, a crotal bell, 2 buckles, musket ball, shoe buckle and a small sterling silver catholic charm. One blank coin was cut in half, one i could make out a British George iii half penny, another coin was a 1823 nova scotia thistle half penny token and the last two coin were blank. My favourite finds of the day are the gilt button, sterling charm and the shoe buckle. I know there's more hot spots in those woods yet so hope to have more posts from there soon. Thanks for looking!
