Looked at the button this morning,
And this is what I seen.
Don't know if there was a way to stop it?ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1456139754.203952.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1456139765.870713.webp

Nice balls dude! :laughing7: Those had to be a ton of fun to dig man and what a great site. You are absolutely going to get a numbered button soon... it has to happen with a site like that. Keep hitting it hard.

Bummer about that button. Did the wood warp as it dried? I've been using mineral oil to preserve the wood so it doesnt dry out and fall apart. I soak my wood and bone handle forks\spoons\knives (and that toothbrush) for a couple hours\days. The musket forend cap also had a good amount of stock wood left in it that dried out and wanted to fall apart. I soaked it for a couple days and the wood sucked up a ton of the oil and looked much better. Guess it replaces the water with the oil to try and retain some shape to it. Yeah, the only bad thing is that it will seep oil for a while... I typically leave them on some paper towels for a couple days after soaking. After that, they are good to go back in the case. I'm not sure if mineral oil would have kept that from warping or not though.

Cool stuff buddy, I bet it feels good digging again!

Nice hand full of lead Vino. Keep at it, that Rev button will show up for you, I am sure of it!

Best of luck to you!
