I think the whistle is a cool find too, I got a small round one this year, and I like it.

Got to ask, do you pan for gold ? I used to before I got into standing up while looking for metal.

Rick

The whistle is indeed a cool find - should be a merc hiding there somewhere - any idea whether or not the site has been hit hard ?

So why didn't ya pick up all those 1958 silver coins? :icon_scratch:

I'm thinking it was either hammered years go,
Or everything is very deep.

only 2 pieces of silver found during My visits.
This was only my 3rd. Hunt here ,
and only been at it for a couple months

Bruce got a Franklin our first hunt, & I got a Merc
our second.

I was digging multiple, multiple drops of Wheats
first hunt too. But now it;s hard to find a wheat.

All the clad is Very deep, like the ground is worked,
or turned to liquid at some point.

of course it's one of the Younger fields also

only in my kitchen :laughing7:

I've panned a couple bags of Practice gravel,
I don't want to say concentrates, because there was nothing
concentrated in them.Except dirt.

and did go to a creek once, but any gold here would most likely be the tiniest piece
imaginable, just by itself, and pure luck.

pa is not known for it's abundance of gold unfortunately,
but by practice in my kitchen, I can say, I do know how :tongue3:
