Well I went back to the demolition site that I first visited a couple of weeks ago. I was able to pluck 10 more wheaties from the 40's and 50's, a 1952-s Quarter, a 1944 Quarter, two 1946 Rosies, and a 1942 Mercury Head dime. Also got a vintage junk ring and 10 modern coins.

This place takes a ton of patience to work, it is absolutely loaded with pulltabs and steel bottle caps, foil and misc. debris. It was hard work but worth it!

I hope everyone got out and dug something good this weekend!

Steve

You are doing outstanding at that site, as you do at others.

Thanks for sharing.

A 5 silver day is well worth the work!!!WTG!

Steve,
Nice little haul. Five silver in one hunt is a good take. Glad you are able to rescue some silver. Are they going to build on the site?

Bob,
I am not sure what they are going to do here, my guess is leave it vacant for now. I am getting the older coins where they have done some scraping with the dozers. I think the site has been hit heavily in the past. I am hoping they scrape over the entire site, as it needs leveling anyhow. If thats the case there should be more silvers to come. I will probably hit it one more time as it is with a small coil. Let me know when you are going to be in town if you want to hit a spot or two.
