I return to a old log cabin I hunted last fall with the 6x8 coil on the Etrac. Lots of iron at this site so I had to try the small coil out. Pulled out a 1936 buffalo nickel, two wheatie, 1881 indian head, clad quarter and a 1930 dog registration tag. Not sure what the clay thing is with a hole through it. Maybe a piece of a pipe?

Yep, the clay thing with the hole in it is piece of a pipe.

It's a piee of an old trade pipe. They were manufactured and traded quite heavily, but still a rare find. Would have been awesome if it were in one piece!
